Thanks to the support of the André Hoffmann Foundation, the Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad have hosted every year from 2012 a resident composer, who will create an original piece for the young soloists to perform in the Gstaad Chapel. The composer will stay in Gstaad over the whole week, to assist the artists. The “André Hoffman Prize”, which is endowed with 5,000 Swiss francs, is awarded to the best rendition of the resident composer’s original piece.
